Root Password Delivery

When a new server is created, the initial root password is automatically sent to the email address associated with the user's account. If you do not see the email, please check your spam or junk mail folder.

Changing the Root Password

Users may change the root password at any time through the management portal or other available administration tools.

Important: Applying Password Changes

After changing the root password, the new password will not become effective immediately. To ensure that the change is properly applied, the server must be:

Powered off completely.
Powered on again.

These must be performed as two separate actions.

Reboot Is Not Sufficient

A standard reboot (restart) is different from powering the server off and then powering it on again. Performing only a reboot may not apply the updated password correctly.

To ensure the new password takes effect, always complete the following sequence:

Power Off → Wait for the server to shut down completely → Power On

Do not use the Reboot/Restart function as a substitute for this process.

Root 密码发送方式

当新服务器创建完成后，系统会自动将初始 Root 密码发送到用户账户所绑定的电子邮箱。如果未收到邮件，请检查垃圾邮件或广告邮件文件夹。

修改 Root 密码

用户可以通过管理门户或其他可用的管理工具随时修改 Root 密码。

重要：使密码修改生效

修改 Root 密码后，新密码不会立即生效。为了确保密码更新被正确应用，必须执行以下两个独立步骤：

关闭（Power Off）服务器。
重新开启（Power On）服务器。

这两个操作必须分别执行。

重启（Reboot）不能替代关机开机

普通的重启（Reboot/Restart）与先关机再开机是不同的操作。仅执行重启可能无法正确应用新的密码设置。

为了确保新密码生效，请始终按照以下顺序操作：

关机（Power Off）→ 等待服务器完全关闭 → 开机（Power On）

请不要使用 Reboot/Restart 功能来代替上述流程。
