Introducing xterm.js on the Console Page
A fully interactive xterm.js terminal has now been integrated directly into the console page. This provides users with a fast, responsive, and reliable way to interact with their servers without needing to open an external SSH client.
With xterm.js, you can expect:
- Real-time terminal output
- Improved stability over previous implementations
- A modern, clean interface for command-line operations
This enhancement makes it easier than ever to manage your server from any device, right from your browser.
VNC Console Renamed to NoVNC
To improve clarity and better reflect the underlying technology, we have renamed the “VNC Console” to “NoVNC.”
The functionality you’re familiar with remains the same — this is a naming update only. The new name accurately represents the software powering the browser-based graphical console.
What This Means for You
- You now have two console options:
- xterm.js for terminal/CLI interaction
- NoVNC for full graphical access
- A clearer interface that reflects the correct tool names
- A smoother, more flexible server management experience
We hope these updates improve your workflow and make managing your servers more intuitive than ever. As always, thank you for using our platform — and stay tuned for more enhancements on the way!
