Maintenance Update – 10/31/2025
We’re pleased to share that our ongoing VPS infrastructure improvements are now entering their final stages. In addition to completing the core development work, we’ve made several important upgrades behind the scenes to further enhance system reliability and performance.
New automated watchdog scripts and monitoring routines have been integrated to ensure that essential processes—such as queue managers and virtual machines—automatically recover and restart after node reboots. This automation minimizes downtime and reduces the need for manual intervention, with human input now only required in rare cases involving hardware or severe software issues.
Our storage arrays have also been optimized for better redundancy and efficiency. Ceph CRUSH maps have been fine-tuned to maximize performance, with greater weighting applied to NVMe drives in a non-caching, tiered configuration—providing faster, more resilient storage for all VPS instances. This is not at any loss to redundancy by reducing replications but only by placing more PG's into the NVMe class.
These advancements represent a major milestone in creating a more robust, self-healing, and high-performance VPS platform. We appreciate your continued support as we complete the final phase of these improvements.
