08/01/2025 (US Date Code) Client Panel Migration/Data Retention

Please see the following announcements from August of 2025, regarding Virtnet.bond and its transfer from old hosting services to a newer more robust software stack. This transfer was publicly posted giving users at the this time a route for compensation and data recovery. This period of time has now lapsed and is no longer in effect. No data has been saved from any expired virtual private servers making recovery no longer possible with compliance according to the terms of service, and service level agreement users accepted upon registering. 

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us via the ticket portal and we will try our best to resolve them. Any requests will be dealt with at the discretion of Virtnet.bond staffs judgement at this time, including denial of requests previously accepted due to the transition time period no longer being in effect.

A new panel is starting to become active. I am wanting to ensure that users moving forward do not feel as if they have lost their donations value one bit. Our cost is still a fraction of any providers, below cost of operations expenses. If you would like to be credited with the amount you have donated previously, with my only request being you activate a new account using the same email as they previously held, please submit a ticket with the Department: "Previous Account Compensation". I will cross reference your previous account and credit you the amount you have previously donated. This is done as a gratuity as a token of appreciation for all the users who have helped support us. This will ensure continuity and allow instant verification they are the account holder. At the current time, templates for OS installs are limited and we are no longer using Convoy as the panel manager. I will be working in the coming days to migrate the old templates to allow all previous options. We are using one built into the billing system. This is to eliminate many of the issues we previously had with reinstall issues customers had when they would continuously fail. This new system ques the processes to eliminate this issue. Your old logins will no longer work, you will have to reregister. If any user has data that they need accessed for migration, please submit a ticket under Department: "Previous Account Data Recovery" and I will power on your old VPS for recovery temporarily. Data recovery will be available until the end of August this month to ensure no users have lost anything of value at this time. Thank you all for your patience as this has been a tough month for me personally with my wife undergoing surgery, work changing my schedule, and my children starting their school year. Time has been a limited resource for me, but I am committed to ensuring to the best of my ability that any user who previously held an account with any transaction recorded will be credited the same amount they have previously donated. If anyone has questions about this process, please submit a ticket under Department: Support in the new panel and I will help as much as I can. Important: Please be aware that all old accounts from https://portal.virtnet.bond/ or https://server.virtnet.bond/ will no longer be accessible after today, including all VPS data for recovery. This is the last day to apply for credits in lieu of previous donations, or for data recovery of old virtual private servers. After Midnight tonight, (EST -5), they will be purged from our systems. Moving forward all accounts will be operated under https://billing.virtnet.bond/. Thank you who have completed this process. I do not want anyone to miss out on credits for previous donations or lose data from older virtual machines should they need them. This will be the last and only warning of this. Please follow the directions in  this process so I can ensure it is taken care of today.
